Yoga Camp is a creative, fun, and enriching experience for kids to explore movement and art, learn breathing practices and meditation, and begin integrating yoga into their everyday lives! Yoga for kids is a powerful tool. It teaches how to self regulate and cultivate a loving relationship with one's self-- skills much more difficult to learn and integrate in adulthood.
The theme of our June Kids' Yoga Camp is Peace. We will move, breathe, and create while learning how to establish peace in our own lives and how to share that peace with everything and everyone.
Schedule: Parents/Guardians are welcome to stay and participate with their child/children
1:00-1:15pm- Arrive and settle in
1:15-1:30pm- Introductions
1:30-2:15pm- Yoga Class, includes meditation and pranayama (breathing activity)
2:15pm-2:55pm- Art Project: Create Your Own Peace/Prayer Flags
2:55-3:00pm- Clean up and say goodbye
