Full Moon Ceremony

Every month we gather to learn about the full moon, discuss how it might affect the nature of our minds and bodies, and practice together to seal an intention or prayer for the upcoming time in life.

Kim practices Jyotisha, or Indian Astrology and Astronomy, also often referred to as Vedic Astrology or Sidereal Astrology. She is studying under an honored lineage and takes great care to honor these ancient astrological techniques for identifying the patterns of light impact on earth. This is a different method than Tropical or Western Astrology; it is the source of those methods.

Please bring a journal if you are a notetaker and a small personal item (it will return home with you) to place on the alter in the center of our circle during ceremony to be imbued with whatever intention is in your heart for the current moon cycle. Meditation and the Kleshas 4 Week Series

to Jun 29

Meditation and the Kleshas 4 Week Series

Meditation and the Kleshas: Understanding the Roots of Inner Turbulence

This class explores meditation as a tool for recognizing and working with the kleshas—the five root causes of suffering described in yogic philosophy: ignorance (avidya), egoism (asmita), attachment (raga), aversion (dvesha), and fear of loss or death (abhinivesha). Through guided meditation, reflective inquiry, and gentle discussion, students will learn how these patterns subtly shape thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Rather than treating meditation as an escape, this practice invites you to sit with clarity and curiosity, observing how the kleshas arise in real time. You’ll develop practical awareness skills to interrupt habitual reactions and create space for more intentional responses.

Suitable for all levels, this class blends philosophical insight with accessible techniques, helping you build a grounded, compassionate relationship with your inner world—both on and off the cushion.

Full Moon Ceremony

Full Moon Ceremony

Purnima, or the full moon, is a sacred time to re-align with the cosmic rhythm. It’s a time to go into yourself and allow the luminosity of the moon to reveal Truth in your being. The moon controls the manas, or the mind, so when we reach the full moon point in the cycle, our minds are more open and receptive. We allow this innate sense of receptivity to expand our awareness and illuminate areas in our lives where we can release and where we can cultivate.

What to expect:

Each ceremony will include different practices, but below are some of what you might experience.

Intention setting, journaling, meditation, asana, chanting mantra, conversation, tea or cacao, creative project, and more.

Paper and pen will be provided at every gathering, but please feel free to bring your own. We will also be creating and alter, so please bring a small, meaningful item to add to the sacred space that we will sit around in ceremony.

**Full Moon and New Moon gatherings are included in class packages and memberships. Drop in rate applies for non-members.

Breathwork Healing Circle: Chaos to Creation with Rachel

We are in uncharted territory, times that have been prophesized by many Indigenous cultures as the time of great change. The chaos of the world feels overwhelming and has the ability to throw us out of our bodies and out of our power. But the great paradox of this time is that with all the destruction this chaos brings, we are given an opportunity for creation.

This is a time for sacred nervous system healing - to bring safety and empowerment back into our beings so we can be a clear channel for the creative energy we need to build new ways for our future generations. We all have a part to play right now, big or small - you are here for a reason.

Step into a sacred circle of community as we journey through a special deep-healing circle dedicated to birthing creative energy out of the chaos of the world.

Spring Rising: A LAB Class with David Triptow

Spring invites us to emerge from winter's stillness and embrace the energy of growth, renewal, and possibility. Join David for a workshop designed to ignite your creative spark and prepare you to move into this season with clarity and fortitude.

We'll begin with a breathwork practice to shake off winter’s stagnation and awaken the breath of Spring, setting the stage to root and sprout. From there, we'll explore the wisdom of Chinese Five Element Theory and Ayurveda, mapping out how these systems illuminate spring’s invitation to rise, expand, and express.

We'll conclude with a buoyant and playful asana practice that mirrors the season’s call to take risks and explore. Expect a dynamic practice that builds momentum, sparks creativity, and invites you to spiral and blossom boldly.

Whether you're stepping into new ventures or seeking inspiration, this workshop will provide you with practical tools to navigate the winds of change and carry your vision forward with focus and intention.

Lastly, here’s a brief description of what these LAB classes are all about:

LAB:
LAB is exactly as it sounds—a time to dissect, discuss, and dive deeper into material we wouldn’t have time to explore in a regular class. Each session is designed with the intention to play, break things down, and explore techniques with a focus on cultivating communal well-being. Whether we’re working with postures, breathwork, meditation, or theory, LAB is a safe space for curiosity and refinement.
