Movement & Stillness

Movement and stillness brings together elements of Qi Gong (prana or energy practice) and core stabilizing postures, with an extended guided shavasana or “corpse pose.” The first segment of class we’ll work with synchronizing breath and movement, as well as cultivating core strength while warming up the body. This will prepare us for the second portion of class, which will involve a guided body scan and gentle breath work to activate the “rest and digest” processes of the nervous system. If you’ve ever left a class wishing the lying down part was longer, this class is for you.
