Power Flow

Align and Refine

A practice dedicated to the awareness of our body, breath and mind to help us gain insight on where we are in space and time. Focusing on alignment principles woven with thematic inspiration, we will spend time in postures building each form sequentially from simple to complex. Some classes will feel slow and steady with lots of props, others more fast-paced and bit more workshop style.

The goal: to learn techniques so that over time you can have more agency, and more choice in your daily practice and your life. A recipe for joy.

Gentle yoga

Gentle yoga is appropriate for all levels of practioners. Through slow, meditative asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathwork), this class builds body/mind awareness. Gentle yoga is a great place to start if you are a beginner, new to yoga completely or have health concerns.

All Levels Yoga

Heated & Non-heated

For healthy beginners with optional modifications and students looking for a more physical challenge, this class blends flowing asanas with some held postures. Instructors of this class guide a truly accessible practice for all.

Kundalini meditation

This practice gently awakens your source energy, Kundalini Shakti, through movement before you are guided into a seated meditation. Through shaking and free flow movement, guided by the instructor, you begin to release stagnant energy and/or physical tension or barriers so that when you come to a seat, the Kundalini Shakti is able to flow and your mind settles into the now.

This practice is open to all levels and anyone who is interested. No prior meditation experience required.

intermediate yoga

yoga sculpt

Sculpt (Heated)

Sculpt combines yoga asanas and muscle conditioning using weights. The heated class uses weights, cardio, and basic yoga postures to reshape and tone your body. Set to uplifting music, this class will make you smile and sweat at the same time. This is not a yoga class in true form.

yin yoga

yIN yOGA

75 minutes

Yin yoga utilizes passive stretching so that practitioners go deep into the connective tissues and release blocks, opening energy channels for more optimal flow. Yin yoga is mostly done on the floor, and props may be used to modify and add to the practice. The stretches are held for 2-5 minutes encouraging deeper awareness of the body and mind that integrates both on and off the mat. This class is suitable for all levels.

restorative

Restorative Yoga

75 minutes

Restorative Yoga is about slowing down in order to open your body and mind. Props like blocks, blankets, and bolsters are used to support the body and allow you to deeply relax. Laying in each posture for 5-10 minutes allows us to check-in with our body and our spirit. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices (as well as our busy lives) and an excellent antidote to stress. Wear comfy clothes and warm socks. This class is suitable for all levels.

Sunday Sadhana

90 minutes

This class will share a variety of yogic teachings and traditions, including both movement and stillness based practices. This class is appropriate for healthy beginners and experienced practioners.

Instructors Kim Hobbs and David Triptow will alternate weeks guiding this class so students have an opportunity to experience different teaching styles and practices.
