Movement and stillness is a slow moving class focused on proper alignment and taking time to slow down and breathe.
The class brings together elements of Yoga and Qi Gong (prana or energy practice) with an extended guided shavasana or “corpse pose" (the yummy part of class where you relax laying down).
The first half of class we will engage in postures known to awaken the energetic core and bring alignment and resilience to the spine.
This will prepare us for the second portion of class, which will involve a guided body scan and gentle breath work to activate the “rest and digest” processes of the nervous system.
