Join us for a 2 hour workshop devoted to rest. As the summer slowly begins to wind down, you have an opportunity here to take a breath and take a break. This hot and fiery season can take a lot out of us, whether we realize it or not, making rest practices even more important. During the rest retreat, you will practice some of yoga's most impactful teachings and give yourself a real chance to rest, heal, and emerge ready to flow through the rest of the summer season like a cool, refreshing breeze.
What to expect:
Restorative asanas (restful yoga postures with support of props)
Yoga Nidra
Pranayama (breathing practices)
Sound Healing
What to wear/bring:
Comfortable clothes (pajamas are welcome here)
Yoga mat and any props or comforts you like from home, such as your own blanket, pillow, eye covering, etc. You are also welcome to use any of the props we have at the studio
Mug/water bottle for tea and/or water
A small meaningful item
This workshop is open to ALL; no experience required.
