Join us for a day of rest and rejuvenation on Sunday, March 12th for DTY’s inaugural Mandala Day Retreat. Mandala means ‘circle’ in Sanskrit. A mandala is a symbolic representation of the universe in all its intricacies and never ending circular, and cyclical nature. We will have a Mandala Day or Weekend Retreat 4 times per year to celebrate and recognize the constant shifts and changes in life.
During a mandala retreat, we will practice Rounding where each hour will be broken down into four 20 minute segments of gentle or restorative asana, pranayama, meditation, and savasana. We will repeat this process throughout the day with journalling, discussion, and time in nature interspersed in order to integrate and weave the inward flow of experience with the outer experience of life. This type of day retreat is a unique experience to be guided in and beyond the barriers that keep one from experiencing their True, vast nature. All levels of experience are welcome at this retreat.
